HANDGUN HOME DEFENSE 220

This class is a combination of legal use of force information, handgun operating skills, tactics and other important information.  This course consists of three sessions, and provides a foundation of knowledge and skills for defending oneself and their family, in their home.  The classroom session will provide information such as the legal application of force (both deadly and non-deadly force options), firearm ballistics, 911 and police interaction, and the tactical use of a handgun.  The range portion of the course will consist of low-light shooting techniques, defensive handgun skills and non-lethal force options.  The student should provide their own handgun, at least three magazines and a flashlight with a pressure release switch, Eye/Ear protection and range appropriate clothing.  The student must have completed TTC Basic Pistol 101 or an equivalent.
