This is a LOW LIGHT Intermediate clinic for the handgun user, who has established marksmanship skills. Close Quarter drills and self-defense tactics will be emphasized. Emphasis will be placed on shooting from alternative shooting positions at typical home defense distances. Immediate Action drills, room clearing, protection of family members will be the core of the course content. A timed live-fire shooting assessment will be conducted at the end of the course. The student should provide their own handgun, at least three magazines, a holster, range safety gear, 300 rounds of ammunition and a handgun case.
Prerequisite: NRA Basic Pistol, TTC Basic Handgun 101 or equivalent. The course includes Instruction, range time and targets.
