TTC CARBINE COMBATIVES COURSE
This is an Intermediate class for the carbine user, who has established marksmanship, operation and safety skills. Close Quarter combative principals and self-defense tactics will be emphasized. Emphasis will be placed on shooting from alternative shooting positions at typical home defense distances. Immediate Action drills, and shooting position balance recognition will be instituted. Familiarization firing course and skill building courses will be utilized. A timed live-fire shooting assessment will be conducted at the end of the course. The student should provide their own carbine or semi-auto rifle, at least three magazines, a holster, range safety gear, range appropriate clothing, 300 rounds of ammunition and a handgun case.
Prerequisite: TTC Defensive Carbine or AR-Type “User” class or equivalent training and experience. The course includes Instruction, range time and targets.
