TACTICAL FIREARMS AND BOURBON REVIEW WITH JAMES THORNETT OWNER OF THE BAGHDAD COUNTRY CLUB
The Tactical Training Center of NJ will be hosting a Tactical Firearms and Bourbon review with Mr. James Thornett owner of the first night club in Baghdad, Iraq in 2004. James has an incredible story for tactical firearms aficionados, business entrepreneurs and whiskey lovers. “No Guns, No Ammunition, No Grenades, No Flashbangs, No Knives — NO EXCEPTIONS” Read the entrance sign to the Baghdad Country Club where James utilized his special operations knowledge to establish a secure social club in a war-torn city. James invested his life savings, not to mention his own life to establish an oasis where social meetings could occur. Hear first hand how he made that first liquor run and transported $300,000.00 of alcohol in a shot-out tractor trailer and provided his own security with a Glock G19 and a few Def-Tech #25 Flash Bangs in a thigh rig, while wearing a Bespoke suit. James is the founder of Buckshee Bourbon. The name Buckshee is derived from the Arabic word “bak-sheesh” meaning a small bribe. It was a term commonly used by British Army Paratroopers in James’ unit while serving in the Iraq War.
THIS EVENT IS FREE, AND DONATIONS WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE VFW FOR SPECIAL OPERATIONS VETERANS.
