HANDGUN HOME DEFENSE FORCE OPTIONS

This class combines the Use of Force considerations discussed in Handgun Home Defense, however this course occurs under low-light circumstances. These skills are necessary when defending a home. The range portion of the course will provide a foundation for low-light vision considerations, low-light shooting techniques, target identification, defensive handgun skills incorporating the use of a flashlight and non-lethal force options. The student should provide their own handgun, at least three magazines and a flashlight with a pressure release switch or preferably a firearm mounted flashlight, Eye/Ear protection and range appropriate clothing. 200 rounds of ammunition are also required. Prerequisite: Defensive Handgun or EQUIVALENT Duration: Two 2 hour sessions
