THIS IS THE ADVANCED ACADEMY – PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE BASIC ACADEMY IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE

The Youth Firearms Academies are week-long firearms training classes for the age groups of 13 to 17. The Basic Academy is designed to teach your teenage children the aspects of safe firearms handling, operation and marksmanship. Classroom instruction will be provided on firearms function, ballistics and safety. The range time will include marksmanship training and actual coaching from our Instructors. We will provide all firearms and range supplies. .22 rim-fire rifles and handguns will be the primary firearm, however the students will have an opportunity to use blackpowder and centerfire firearms as the academy progresses.
The Advanced Academy will place special emphasis on advanced marksmanship, operational skills and specialty targets. The Advanced Academy will primarily use centerfire firearms (thus the increase in price). Participants in the Advanced class must have completed the Basic Academy. This academy includes ammunition, firearms rentals and all safety equipment.
