This is an introductory course for the new owner/user. This course provides the new handgun user with the fundamental principles of how handguns function, ballistic information, how handguns are safely and effectively operated, and basic marksmanship skills. The course will include classroom sessions and live-fire range time. At the conclusion of the course, each student will be assessed and provided with information on how to maintain their newly acquired skills. As a result of this course, the new handgun user will be better informed and trained on how to properly select and use a firearm.
