Duration: Two 2 hour sessions
This is an advanced class for the semi-auto rifle user, which builds upon the tactics and philosophies of Semi-auto 210. This is an advanced rifle class for the semi-auto rifle user who has acquired the skills of shooting accurately and operating with the rifle under typical circumstances. In this course, an emphasis will be placed on self-defense with the rifle. The user will be instructed on the foundations of movement, proper use of cover/concealment, room clearing, target discrimination, tactical reloads, and an introduction to close quarter defense. The use of Optical sights is permitted and a firearm mounted flashlight is recommended in this course. Equipment requirements: An AR15 type rifle, eye/ear protection, a long-sleeve crew neck shirt, ball-cap, approximately 400 rounds of ammunition and 3-15 round full bodies magazines (Hex-mag or similar type magazine). Limited to 8 students. The basics of immediate action drills, position shooting, movement with the rifle and self-defense will be introduced.
