New Jersey Residents
Resident may rent alone
- Must have a current NJ Firearms Identification Card (matches their NJ Driver’s License)
- Must have a valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun and 18 years of age to rent a rifle
- Must complete the TTC Shooter’s Waiver (or have it on file with the TTC for the year)
- Must complete the TTC Rental Agreement each time a firearm is rented
Active Law Enforcement/Corrections Officers (May rent alone)
- Must be a “sworn” active-duty (not retired) Law Enforcement or Corrections Officer with an agency provided LE Identification Card.
- Must have a state issued Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun and 18 years of age to rent a rifle
- Must complete the TTC Shooter’s Waiver (or have it on file with the TTC for the year)
- Must complete the TTC Rental Agreement each time a firearm is rented
(Does not include NJ Special 1 Officers, police/sheriffs cadets or auxiliary officers).
Out of State Renter
Must be accompanied by another
- Must have a valid state of residence Driver’s License
- Must be accompanied by another
- Must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun and 18 years of age to rent a rifle
- Must complete the TTC Shooter’s Waiver (or have it on file with the TTC for the year)
- Must complete the TTC Out of State Range Use/Rental Agreement each time a firearm is rented
Out of Country Citizen Renter
Must be accompanied by another
- Must have country of origin driver’s license or passport
- Must be accompanied by another
- Must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun and 18 years of age to rent a rifle
- Must complete the TTC Shooter’s Waiver (or have it on file with the TTC for the year)
- Must complete the TTC Out of State Range Use/Rental Agreement each time a firearm is rented
Rent to Buy Renter
Must be accompanied by another
- Must have country of origin driver’s license or passport
- Must be accompanied by another
- Must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun and 18 years of age to rent a rifle
- Must complete the TTC Shooter’s Waiver (or have it on file with the TTC for the year)
- Must complete the TTC Out of State Range Use/Rental Agreement each time a firearm is rented
Active Duty Military (Active or Reserved) Renter
Must be accompanied by another
- Must have a valid US Active Duty or Reserve Military photo identification
- Must have a valid Driver’s License from any state or province
- Must be accompanied by another
- Must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun and 18 years of age to rent a rifle
- Must complete the TTC Shooter’s Waiver (or have it on file with the TTC for the year)
- Must complete the TTC Out of State Range Use/Rental Agreement each time a firearm is rented
Additional Information
In addition to completing the TTC Rental Agreement, your Driver’s License will be held while you utilize one of our rental firearm’s and will be returned to you when the firearm is returned to us.
All shooters potentially utilizing any TTC rental firearm must complete the TTC Rental Agreement as well as have a current TTC Waiver on file.
Rental firearms are not permitted to leave the TTC facility and store policy mandates the purchase and use of TTC sold factory loaded ammunition in our firearms.
Shooters who do not have familiarity with or an understanding of the workings of any firearm they desire to rent will be required to purchase the services of an instructor prior to use of the rental firearm on the range. This short safety/ firearms function instruction will be conducted at a minimal cost and can generally be accomplished without an appointment.
Renters may hire a TTC instructor for training on or with specific rental firearms.
The Tactical Training Center, LLC reserves the right to refuse to rent a firearm to anyone for any reason.
